The City of Alcoa will be working on waterline upgrades and installation at the intersection of Nails Creek Road and North Wildwood Road, and subsequently north and east along Nails Creek Road and Alfred McCammon Road.
The city plans to start work on Tuesday, October 28, at 8:30 AM. The initial phase will cross at North Wildwood Road and continue down Nails Creek Road toward Alfred McCammon Road. The project will involve a cut across North Wildwood Road. This road will be open to only one lane during construction, so all motorists using this route should expect delays. North Wildwood Road should be fully reopened on Wednesday, October 29.
The work along Nails Creek Road and Alfred McCammon Road is expected to be completed by mid-November 2025.
Motorists should take extra caution as workers will be present and allow additional travel time to reach their destination when traveling through this location.
