The City of Alcoa Development Services Department was informed by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) of an upcoming lane closure on Cusick Road beginning Wednesday, July 24. The utility work will start at 7:00 a.m. with the project to be completed by Thursday, July 25.
This utility work will be done by Pipeline Construction and is in conjunction with the TDOT Alcoa Highway Relocation Project. One lane will remain open at all times.
The City of Alcoa warns motorists to find alternate routes if possible. All travelers should be prepared for delays in travel time while using this route and use extra caution as workers will be present in the area.
