The City of Alcoa will make no adjustments to the collection of residential solid waste, residential recyclables, or commercial / industrial solid waste for the Good Friday holiday on March 29th . Residents scheduled for Friday collections are asked to have their garbage cart placed at the curb no later than Thursday evening.
There will be no brush or bulky waste collections the week of March 25th. Brush waste collections will run the following week, April 2nd through the 5th .
The Alcoa/Maryville/Blount County Landfill will be open with normal operating hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., on both Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th .
