[ARCHIVED] Alcoa Municipal/Regional Planning Commission Updated Submittal Process

The Alcoa Municipal/Regional Planning Commission (ARPC) and City of Alcoa Staff have developed a new submittal process for monthly ARPC meetings. The new scheduling of submittals and review process will begin after Board of Commissioner approval at the July 11 meeting. The new process will go into effect the following month, with August 7 as the first application filing deadline for the September ARPC meeting. This new submittal process allows the Planning Staff time with applicants to review, revise, and determine overall functionality of future development. The ARPC staff will also be implementing an updated fee structure set to begin this year. 

 

Upon approval, applicants wishing to be put on the ARPC agenda will need to submit their application and payment on the first Monday of the month to be included on the following month’s agenda. For months when the first Monday falls on a holiday, the deadline will be on Tuesday. If this application is for a site plan, the full site plan must be submitted to be placed on the agenda.  Further details and a calendar of dates can be found on the City of Alcoa’s Development Services website as well as social media.
