The City of Alcoa Public Works & Engineering Department has contracted the resurfacing of the following streets:
- East Edison Street from the roundabout to North Wright Road
- North Wright Road from E. Edison Street to McArthur Road
The resurfacing is scheduled for Monday, March 13, through Friday, March 17. Inclement weather or unforeseen conditions may extend this project. Motorists should expect traffic lane shifts during construction and temporary lane closures for short periods of time.
Local residents and employees of businesses in the area should exercise caution while traveling through the construction zones. Motorists along these routes should allow extra travel time to reach their destination.
