The City of Alcoa’s fall leaf collection is running behind schedule due to mechanical problems with one of its leaf machines. Ordered parts are due to arrive this week with anticipated repairs completed and equipment back up and running at the first of next week.

Until then City sanitation crews will begin working late into the evening, Saturday and Monday, to get the leaf collection back on schedule.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this delay may have caused residents.
