All lanes of Alcoa Hwy (US 129) are now open in each direction. The City of Alcoa Electric Department has completed its repair and power is restored to the area.

One northbound and one southbound lane of Alcoa Hwy (US 129) are now open in each direction. The City of Alcoa Electric Department is working on repairs to the electric system in the area. Power should be restored by late afternoon.

The City of Alcoa Police and Fire Department’s report that a multi-car crash has closed Alcoa Highway. Northbound traffic has been diverted to Pellissippi Parkway while southbound traffic is being diverted to Topside Road. The crash occurred in the vicinity of Alcoa Highway and Singleton Station Road. Some power lines are down and Alcoa Electric is working to make needed repairs.
