I – INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE:

The City of Alcoa is requesting Statements of Qualifications from interested and qualified Specialty Foundation Contractors to participate in a select group of Contractors Pre-Qualified to Bid on repairs to footings AA/17.9 and AA/0.9 at the Existing City Service Center.     Repair includes underpinning of the foundations using micropiles socketed into bedrock.  Micropiles shall be encased with steel pipe and contain a central reinforcing bar filled with grout

II - CONTENT OF

      QUALIFICATIONS:

1.   Name, address and proper contact person.

2.   Number of years in business.

3.   Provide examples of projects completed in the last 8 years of a similar scope and nature.

A.   Projects in and around active on-going facilities, to include:

i.    Temporary protection of building occupants.

ii.   Improvement of existing buildings that successfully arrested foundation settlement.

B.   Successful execution of the work through creative implementation of work.

4.   With the examples above include:
