The City of Alcoa advises motorists on upcoming road closures for sewer line replacement work on Lodge Street between Faraday Street and Murdock Street, beginning on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
The project will last several weeks as the Lodge Street sewer line is replaced. The intersection of Faraday Street and Lodge Street will be closed from November 25 to November 29, during the Alcoa City School Thanksgiving Break, to replace a manhole.
Motorists should use extra caution as workers will be present and allow additional travel time to reach their destinations when traveling through this location. Motorists are also advised to seek alternate routes through this area until work is complete
