The City of Alcoa Development Services Department alerts travelers of an upcoming lane closure on Wrights Ferry Road beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30. This lane closure is in conjunction with the Wrights Ferry Industrial Building Project for the installation of the main waterline. The closure is expected to last 10 hours, and one lane will remain open for the duration of the project.
The City of Alcoa asks motorists to use caution when driving through this area as crews will be present and should allow additional time when traveling.
