The City of Alcoa Development Services Department cautions residents and travelers of an upcoming road lane closure on West Bessemer Street at Hamilton Crossing Drive. The lane closure will occur early Saturday morning, August 5, from 12:15 to 2:00 a.m.
W. Bessemer Street at the intersection of Hamilton Crossing Drive will have one lane closed for work as part of the Tidal Wave Auto Spa project. The subcontractor, Volunteer Highway Supply, will be installing striping for the crosswalk across W. Bessemer Street. Only one lane will be closed at a time, and the installation is not expected to exceed the given timeframe.
Motorists using this roadway should allow additional travel time and use extreme caution when traveling as work crews will be present.
