REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The City of Alcoa will be accepting statements of qualifications from professional consulting engineering firms to provide Small Procurement preliminary & design engineering (PE) and/or construction engineering inspection (CEI) services related to locally managed projects. These projects are funded by a mix of local, state, and/or federal funds. The PE and/or CEI services will be accomplished in accordance with the applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations, policies and standards relevant to the respective project(s). Firms submitting statements of qualifications shall be approved by TDOT for such services. After evaluation of submittals by Alcoa staff, one or more firms may be selected to provide PE and/or CEI services for each respective project as it is identified.
Summaries of qualifications for services will be received until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the offices of the Alcoa Development Services Department, 725 Universal Street, Alcoa, Tennessee. Proposals mailed for this contract should be mailed to Megan Brooks, PE, Director of Development Services, City of Alcoa, 725 Universal Street, Alcoa, Tennessee 37701. The submitter shall be responsible for the early delivery of their proposal. Mailed and hand-delivered summaries should be labeled "Alcoa PE/CEI Services Proposal Enclosed." Proposals will also be accepted in PDF format either on a storage device or via electronic communication (email or link). Electronic submissions (or links to submissions) should be emailed to: with the subject “Alcoa PE/CEI Services Proposal.” Requirements for this contract may be obtained from the Development Services Department, City of Alcoa, 725 Universal Street, Alcoa, Tennessee 37701 (865) 380-4800. Each submitter shall provide four (4) hard copies of their statement of qualifications unless submitting electronically.
The City of Alcoa reserves the right to accept or decline any bid or proposal made on any proposed purchase or contract.
